Anne Hwang is an LA transplant with a love for East Coast culture and winters. She has been shooting photos since high school, but it was only about six years ago that friends encouraged her to take her hobby and transform her snapshots into a serious artistic endeavor.

Anne enjoys shooting a wide variety of subjects, but considers herself first and foremost a candid photographer on the hunt for moments of beauty. From urban landscapes to portraits of musicians to friends getting married, Anne pursues shapes, contours, and life etched on the canvas of human faces. She also views her craft as a therapeutic release from her day job as a social worker in child welfare. She draws her inspiration from fellow street shooters and National Geographic photographers.
